Meghan attended the U.S. Open to watch Serena Williams make what turned out to be an unsuccessful attempt at a record-breaking 24th grand slam. Meghan sat in Williams’s players’ box after spending sometime in New York City. An article in the British tabloid the Daily Mail used the solo trip to accuse the duchess of being a bad mother for leaving her four-month-old son Archie at home with Prince Harry.
