So at the risk of sounding as if I'm shilling for the Golden Arches (I'm not, I legit just love their food, fight me), I wanted to let you know about an ~enticing~ ad I just saw for free McDonald's food for life.

Apparently, the McGold Card — an exclusive, fancy gold membership card that gets you free McDonald's for the rest of your life — actually exists, and the company is giving the cards away this December.

To enter the sweepstakes, all you need to do is place an order through the McDonald's app (which I recommend using anyway if you go to McDonald's frequently). Each purchase is one entry, but you're limited to one entry per day. If you win, you get a card for yourself plus three more cards to give out to your friends and family! There are also some good deals on food throughout the month, like 50-cent double cheeseburgers and BOGO Big Macs.

There's some fine print on the "free food for life" thing, though: McDonald's defines that as two meals per week for the next 50 years. So you wouldn't be able to live off McDonald's seven days a week, but honestly, that's probably not a great idea anyway.

The sweepstakes — and the "Szn of Sharing" deals — start on Dec. 5 and go through Dec. 25. So if you'll excuse me, it's lunchtime, and I think I know what I'm going to get.
