According to the official, the warehouse guards followed the emergency rules during the air raid alert, so no casualties have been reported yet.

Bratchuk added that the rescue operation continues.

In turn, Odesa Mayor Hennadiy Trukhanov posted on Facebook a footage from the warehouse hit by the Russian missile.

He confirmed that there were no casualties as a result of the attack.

"The barbarians hit the civilian infrastructure in Odesa this morning," Trukhanov said, adding that smoke from the fire could be seen far outside the city.

At the same time, the Operational Command Pivden (South) specified that the attack on Odesa had been carried out with the use of an X-101 missile launched from the Tu-95 strategic aircraft from the direction of Stavropol.

The fire in the warehouse covered an area of about 1,000 square meters. Fire and rescue teams are working at the scene.
