Martha had a busy summer—even in quarantine! Along with making her mark on Instagram in the form of a viral pool selfie and publishing her 97th cookbook, our founder also debuted a new television series, Martha Knows Best. And if you've missed watching her teach celebrities a thing or two about cooking and homemaking, you'll be pleased to know you can look forward to even more of her expertise starting tonight. The show's second season premieres on HGTV and her first guest is none other than comedian Chelsea Handler. "I feel like I could learn so much from you," Handler said in the preview clip of the episode. "I mean I know so many people who already do." Martha replied: "Thank you so much for taking a lesson from me. Thank you for posting your photo in your pool [with] your rendition of my selfie. We became very famous because of that, Chelsea."

Our founder is referring to the snap she took from her East Hampton, New York, home—which she captioned the photo: "My pool in East Hampton is the place to be on a 89 degree day!" she wrote. "When I built the pool thirty years ago it was designed to be as chlorine-free as possible, with a natural concrete finish-no paint- and it fit in a long narrow space between the house and the property line. I made it extra deep for diving and with no protruding steps so we could really race the length without worrying about obstacles. After all these years, It is a fun place to swim!!!" Handler then famously shared her own take of Martha's pool selfie, sharing that she admired Martha's ageless beauty. "I'm here to take @marthastewart48's swimming lesson," she captioned her post. "If I look this good at 78, I better still have a pool to show myself off in."

Martha later explained her inspiration behind the picture itself. "Well, I had just had a very dear friend over for lunch and then I took a long swim and I was getting out of the pool. I was trying to take pictures of my gardens out there. And then the camera automatically went to, you know, selfie mode. I don't know why," Martha previously told CNN. "And I looked at it and I looked so nice because of the sun streaming down. So, I snapped the picture and I sent it to the internet."

There's a look to look forward to when Martha Knows Best returns to television tonight. While we know the premiere will undoubtably be hilarious, we're excited to see Martha shares her tips on all things home with celebrities throughout the entire season. Watch along and you might just learn a thing or two, also. "What I'm trying to do is show the practical, doing things that everybody can do, no matter how big or small your property is and establishing good gardening practices," she previously said of the show. "It's a very practical show and people will really understand how to make things."
