Marshalls store to open Thursday in Fremont
Marshalls, the national chain of retail stores, will host an open house celebration, 8-10 a.m. Thursday at Liberty Square, 2182 Sean Dr., for its new store in Fremont.
The store brings with it approximately 60 new part and full-time jobs to the area community, according to Marshalls officials. Store executives expressed their excitement about the opening.
"Our newest store in Fremont will offer an ever-changing selection of high-quality, on-trend, and brand-name merchandise at the amazing prices that Marshalls is known for," Tim Miner, president of Marshalls, said in a news release. "We're excited to bring this experience and exceptional values from fashion and beauty, to home and more, to a new neighborhood. With thousands of new items delivered to our stores every day, we strive to provide our shoppers with amazing brands every time they shop."
The Fremont store joins more than 1,100 Marshalls operating in 48 U.S. states, Washington, D.C., and Puerto Rico. The off-price retailer specializes in high-quality merchandise in such categories as women's, men's, juniors', and kids' clothing, shoes, accessories, home, pet, and beauty.
Fremont's new, 22,000-square-foot Marshalls will be open 9:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m., Monday to Saturday and 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Sundays.
The new Marshalls outlet is opening in the retail space formerly used by Gordman's and Peebles.
