Auston Matthews’ flair on the ice is unmistakable and now he’s being recognized for his swag off the ice, too.

The Maple Leafs’ star was named to Sports Illustrated’s Fashionable 50 list, a project highlighting the best dressed athletes in the world.

Unlike many of his NHL counterparts, Matthews is always drippin’ and was recognized for the choices he makes before big games, as the 21-year-old is partial to vintage three-piece suits.

Although Matthews has been highlighted by GQ and other fashion magazines before for his immaculate style, he wasn’t the lone NHL player on the list. New Jersey Devils standout P.K. Subban, New York Rangers goaltender Henrik Lundqvist, and San Jose Sharks forward Evander Kane were also selected.

Matthews was highlighted in the “Rising Stars” portion of the feature, Subban was listed as an “Icon” while Lundqvist and Kane were deemed “Classics”.

It should be noted that while Matthews is already a demigod in Toronto, the magazine listed him as “Toronto-born” and that’s incorrect, as the Maple Leafs center was born in California. We’ll accept the revisionist history.

Serena Williams was listed as the most fashionable among the top 50. The full list can be viewed here.
