The 23-year-old has recorded 10 goals and 28 points in 49 games this season.
Kapanen becomes the latest player to join the Maple Leafs’ injury ward, as John Tavares, Morgan Rielly, Mitch Marner, Andreas Johnsson, Jake Muzzin have all missed significant time with various ailments throughout the year.
Luckily, it looks as though Kapanen may avoid a similar prognosis.
Keefe says X-rays negative on Kapanen's arm, will be re-evaluated tomorrow

It would be a tough blow for the Maple Leafs if Kapanen missed extended time, as the Maple Leafs are fighting through myriad injuries while trying to fight their way back into a playoff spot.
Kapanen has been rumoured to be on the trade block as well, but no substantive offers have been made for the speedy winger.
