Man Rescues Cat in Florida Amid Storm Surges From Hurricane Ian

A man rescued a cat trapped by surging waters in Bonita Springs, Florida, as Hurricane Ian made landfall in the Sunshine State’s southwest on Wednesday, September 28.

The National Hurricane Center said Ian came ashore near Cayo Costa as a Category 4 hurricane with maximum sustained wind speeds of 150 mph.
