What do you get the person who orders everything they could possibly want or need from Amazon? A parcel-themed birthday cake of course.

Emily McGuire is a self-confessed fan of the online shopping giant and for her 39th birthday celebrations, her husband came up with the idea for a perfect gift.

All too aware of her online ordering habits, Mac McGuire asked local hotspot, Inspiring Grounds and Sweet Dreams Bakery, in North Carolina to make the thoughtful treat.

Not prepared to skip any of the important details, the three-layer chocolate and buttercream cake was designed to look like an Amazon package complete with a USPS shipping label - all ready to be delivered to ‘1234 Birthday Lane’ in ‘Happy Birthday, 2U’.

Thrilled with her surprise gift, the mother-of-three took to Facebook to share a photograph of the touching cake alongside the caption: “When you order a lot from Amazon... you get an Amazon box cake”.

The post soon garnered 356 shares with fellow social media users impressed by the creation.

“This is genius, I love it,” one wrote.

While another agreed, adding: “Omg, I love this. I myself am addicted to Amazon, this is amazing.”

McGuire was also left touched by her husband’s present, as she told NBC’s Today: “As soon as I saw the cake, I was like, ‘He gets me’. I felt so understood!”

She then went on to admit that she puts something in her Amazon shopping cart at least three times a week meaning there are always plenty of parcels waiting for her at home.

Thankfully, her husband doesn’t mind. “He just laughs at this point,” she added.

Though the photographer isn’t the only one suited to the shopping-themed sweet treat, as the bakery has received an influx of calls from others desperate to get their hands on an Amazon-inspired masterpiece.

“We’ve been getting lots of calls from people who want the cake,” Brent Norris, who co-owns the shop with his wife Trena, told the US site. “The phone keeps ringing.”

So if any husbands out there are reading this, make sure to take note.
