Man found dead lying on south Augusta road with gunshot wound
An investigation is underway after a man was found dead on Stone Road.
Richmond County deputies found Johndrick Oliphant, 19, who had been shot at least once, in the 4200 block of Stone Road near Boykin Road around 10:30 a.m. He was pronounced dead at the scene at 11:05 a.m.
An autopsy has been schedule at the GBI Crime Lab in Atlanta.
This is the third homicide this year in Richmond County.
