Mama June Shannon selling possessions online ahead of crack cocaine arrest trial

Mama June Shannon is selling off personal items, including the only remaining bed in her home, for as low as a few dollars ahead of her impending trial for crack cocaine possession.

In unsettling footage obtained by TMZ, the reality star smiles with a mouth of broken teeth as she and her boyfriend, Geno Doak, show off the little of what remains in Mama June's home. Among the items she's unloading are her daughters' belongings, including an American Girl doll and a sparkly lamp.

Several of the Facebook posts include captions that are difficult to decipher. One reads, "A baby seat for babies to play while u r doing your chpores ado ndbtgw house n they can search with u."

While several of the items have sold, others have proven trickier to get rid of. A dated car manual useful only for people who own an old Honda Accord remains available for $10.

Mama June and her boyfriend's joint drug arrest was in March, and five months later, according to people who recently visited the home, the bedroom floor is littered with "what looked like needles or syringes." Her 13-year-old daughter, Honey Boo Boo, has refused to live with her mother until she calls it quits with Geno.

Because the Facebook Marketplace posts are public, many people have weighed in with their own comments, with some offering words of support but most criticizing the 40-year-old for her actions. On a listing for a lamp, one commenter wrote, "In your teenage daughter's room, but she's too scared to come home because of you all. So ya'll just decide to sell her things. Shame on you."

Honey Boo Boo is currently living with her 19-year-old sister, Lauryn "Pumpkin" Shannon, whose own daughter was born in late 2017. It's unclear whether Mama June has seen her daughters or granddaughter in recent months.

Mama June's boyfriend's criminal history is well-documented with his first known arrest taking place in 1996. In March 2019, when the two were found in possession of paraphernalia including needles, a glass pipe and a pill bottle filled with crack cocaine, Geno was also charged with domestic harassment. It's unclear what events contributed to that charge.

Geno is the latest in Mama June's string of unsavory partners. In 2014, news broke that she'd re-ignited a relationship with her ex, Mark McDaniel, who had been convicted in 2004 of raping and molesting her then-8-year-old daughter Chickadee. At the time of her reunion, her youngest, Honey Boo Boo, was also eight years old.

Honey Boo Boo was present when the sexual abuse occurred, according to a police report obtained by Us Weekly.

Despite the 2014 revelations, WeTV moved forward with plans for its makeover show "Mama June: From Hot to Not." The network is reportedly still weighing whether to work with her again.
