Married at First Sight UK's Chanita Stephenson has opened up about her dating-related hopes for the future, admitting to have a crush on a Made in Chelsea star.

Stephenson, who was paired with Jordan Emmett-Connelly on the latest series of the reality show, revealed she wouldn't mind "meeting a fit guy" in the new year.

"I would have [365 Days actor] Michele Morrone under the mistletoe, or Miles Nazaire from Made in Chelsea, as he's closer to home," she said (via OK!).

Chanita also shared that she's keen to travel and move house in 2023.

The social care worker and her match tied the knot during MAFS UK series 7 but went their separate ways after the show, as Stephenson felt her feelings weren't reciprocated.

"Basically, I kept saying, 'I feel like you’re not interested in me, you're not making an effort, you're not doing this.' And he's all, 'No, no, no, I can't wait to see you' — and then I was right!" she explained during the Married at First Sight UK series 7 reunion.

"And then he was like, 'Oh, I don't think we're compatible, I don't want to be with you.' It was really weird."

Speaking to Heart Breakfast's Amanda Holden and Jamie Theakston back in October, Chanita denied that Married at First Sight UK is "fake" and spoke more about her romance with Jordan.

She explained that they tried to give their relationship another go after their stint on the show, but things didn't work out.

"After the experiment, it is tough. It's hard. It's a complete rollercoaster," she said. "I did give Jordan another chance, but it wasn't [meant] to be. We’re friends.”

As the former couple split only recently, Chanita is going "with the flow" when it comes to romance.

"It's only recently that I cut my ties with Jordan, so I've kind of taken a step back and gone with the flow," she said.

Married at First Sight UK airs on E4 in the UK. Married at First Sight Australia airs on Nine Network in Australia and E4 in the UK.
