MINTY: Welcome to "Mad Bets," everyone. This Sunday, we've got The Match 2, a charity golf match between Tiger Woods and Peyton Manning versus Phil Mickelson and Tom Brady. So, basically, who do we like to win this match, Matt?
MATT: Well, last week, I took the underdog and that was such a painful loss. And I don't know if I can take another underdog in golf. And Tom Brady, right now, is the only person that's not golfing on an everyday basis here. He's getting ready for a theoretical NFL season.
So I'm going with Tiger. I'm taking Tiger. I'm going to lay the money. I'm feeling greedy. I'm taking the favorite.
MINTY: Jared, I feel like you're going to take Tom Brady. Is that right?
JARED: No, in football, definitely. In golf, no. And for two reasons, all right-- A, Tom Brady has less time to work on golf. All Peyton Manning does is do commercials and golf. And just name value alone, Tiger and Peyton versus Tom and Phil, I'm taking Tiger and Petyon every time.
And it just seems like this is a toss up. It should be for fun. Nobody's really going to be taking it serious. And with that being said, I can't go for Brady on fun. I don't like Brady that much.
MINTY: OK. OK. I also am with you guys. I like Tiger and Peyton.
I think they're going to be the best golfers. And I think Peyton's going to be really, really competitive for some reason. Even though it's just for charity, I think he's just going to really push it because he doesn't like Tom so.
MATT: I'm going to switch now. If we're all three agreeing, I'm switching. Because that means we're going to lose for sure.
Jared's going off name brand. And we all agree. So I feel like we're for sure going to lose.
MINTY: OK.
JARED: Geez. How-- how much he annoys me. We could have all been on a winning team.
We'd have been celebrating after the win. Now, you're going to be sad. It's not going to be fun anymore.
