Mad Bets: Will NBA or MLB return to action first?
Everyone is excited for sports to get back to normal, so what league is going to return first?

MINTY BETS: It's time for our first make believe bet. And we're all itching to see live sporting events back again. So which league do we think will be back first, the MLB at minus 180 or the NBA at plus 160? Jared, what do you think?
JARED QUAY: I'm gonna take MMA minus 100,000. I'm gonna put all my money on it because MMA is coming back first.
MINTY BETS: Value.
JARED QUAY: But if I have to choose between the two sports, I'm taking baseball, all right? I think that baseball is the more social distanced sport, right? They don't have to work hard. They don't have to be in shape. They can go straight from off the couch to getting back on baseball. Basketball, you got to be in shape.
I just think baseball will come back. They'll social distance better. And I feel like they play 150 games. They're gonna just play them back to back to back. The whole baseball season will be one month long, four games a day for every team.
MATT GOTHARD: I'm taking-- I'm going against you, man. I'm taking basketball for a couple reasons. One, they don't need as much time because it's about to be the playoffs, and they can keep everybody in the same place. They're smaller teams.
And two, I hate to be a Negative Nancy, but there's a chance that neither of these sports come back. And if--
JARED QUAY: Boo!
MATT GOTHARD: --that happens-- if that happens-- basketball season starts before baseball season. So I'm taking NBA plus the plus money. I got to take it. I got to take it. Minty, what are you thinking?
MINTY BETS: I think the MLB comes back first. I mean, there's already rumors, which I know we've been hearing rumors that spring training is gonna start mid to late June and then start up again in July. So MLB.
JARED QUAY: This is like last season. When me and Minty agree, we win.
