Another five-star talent appears to be departing College Station. Wide receiver Chris Marshall became one of the latest Texas A&M portal entries for the Aggies.

It should come as no surprise that players want out of Aggieland after a 5-7 season, but the record is the tip of the iceberg.

Many assumed with Jimbo Fisher’s talent-rich roster that there would be good players that wouldn’t see the field. Logically, some of those players would depart. However, a contingent of players appeared to have little to no respect for Fisher’s leadership leading to a toxic locker room culture.

The 2022 season saw players suspended for smoking weed in the locker room before a game. It’s the kind of behavior that leads one to believe some Aggies chose Texas A&M primarily for NIL opportunities. Judging by footage from Aggie recruiting visits, A&M boosters probably extended an offer they couldn’t refuse.

Here’s a look at how some are viewing the latest transfer news.
