Former Love Island star Anton Danyluk has revealed he is "blessed to be alive" after his car crashed into a bus in Dubai. The 27-year-old, who is originally from Scotland but moved to Dubai to open up a fitness business, took to his Instagram Stories this week to give fans an update after the crash.

Sharing a photo of his smashed rental car with his 1 million Instagram followers, the reality star said: "Those who drive in Dubai will know the drivers are mad out here always rushing about. You have to have eyes in the back of your head."

Speaking about how the accident happened, Anton added, "A bus basically came across me and he's breaked [sic] hard because he’s gone over a speed bump and then I’ve went into the sorta [sic] side of the back of him."

He continued: "I don’t know how I’m okay. Air bags are obviously a good thing." Despite being understandably shaken up by the crash, Anton said he's "absolutely fine" and "feeling blessed to be alive."

News of Anton's accident comes just a few days after it was revealed he'd been dropped from the upcoming season of E4's Ex On The Beach. The series sees a group of celebrities head to a luxury villa where, you guessed it, one-by-one their exes turn up (on the beach) to wreak havoc. Anton was set to appear on the show alongside his fellow Love Islander and ex-girlfriend, Belle Hassan. But, after quarantining in Tenerife for three days ahead of the series, he was reportedly told [via Metro] he'd no longer be on the show, and sent home.
