''Love Island' presenter Caroline Flack denies snubbing Francesca Allen on 'Aftersun'

Love Island presenter Caroline Flack has denied snubbing former contestant Francesca Allen on Aftersun, claiming she doesn’t “hold grudges”.

Flack welcomed Allen onto Love Island’s spin-off show with a hug, but viewers later accused her of snubbing the dumped Islander as she ran past her at the end of their interview, prompting Allen to awkwardly sit back down.

Some viewers have suggested that Flack could be retaliating to rumours that Allen once reportedly called Flack a “paedo”.

However, the presenter has insisted that she ‘doesn’t hold grudges’ and believes she gave the former contestant a warm welcome on the show.

Taking to Twitter, Flack wrote: "As you know... I hate commenting on stuff... I didn’t snub Francesca. In fact, quite the opposite... [I] made her feel very welcome as soon as she got to the studio.

“I don’t hold grudges... and the wellbeing of our Islanders is important to me. Thought she was a great islander."

Allen has also denied that there is any issue between the two of them, taking to Instagram to tell her followers that the whole thing has been blown out proportion.

"I don’t use Twitter and those words didn’t come out of my mouth. It’s all getting blown out of proportion.

“Me and Caroline had a little drink and a chat after Aftersun. So yeah, we get along really well. I don’t know what this is all about!”

Allen was voted out of the villa along with Michael Griffiths on Sunday’s episode, after receiving the fewest votes from the public.

Elsewhere, another former Islander in Amy Hart recently revealed that she’s received messages of support from Love Actually director Richard Curtis and Britain’s Got Talent judge David Walliams.
