Mycronic AB (publ) has received an order for a Prexision 8 Entry Evo from an existing customer in Asia. The order value is in the range of USD 8-10 million and constitutes Mycronic's first order for this product. Delivery of the system is planned for the fourth quarter of 2023 and is to replace one of the customer's older systems.

French drugmaker Sanofi said it expected a positive boost to its third-quarter business results from movements on the currency markets, helped by the strength of the U.S. dollar since Sanofi does much of its business in the United States. Sanofi said its preliminary estimate of currency impacts on its third-quarter 2022 sales was for a boost of approximately 10% to 11%, and for a lift of around 12% and 13% on its business earnings per share (EPS). Sanofi will report third-quarter results on Oct. 28.

The first hurricane advisory on Wednesday put Ian's maximum sustained winds near 120 mph (195 km per hour), ranking it a Category 3, but said the storm was expected to strengthen.
