Louisiana Tech men's basketball releases full 2022-23 season schedule

Louisiana Tech men's basketball has released its 2022-23 schedule, the first under new coach Talvin Hester.

Hester joined the Bulldogs after a one season on staff at Texas Tech, helping the Red Raiders to a Sweet 16 appearance in the NCAA Tournament. He is no stranger to the Bulldogs, having spent 2018-21 as an assistant coach with Louisiana Tech.

Last season the Bulldogs finished 24-10 overall and 12-6 in Conference USA. They fell one game short of an NCAA Tournament bid after losing 82-73 to UAB in the CUSA Tournament final.

The Bulldogs begin the season on Nov. 7 against Mississippi College and open Conference USA competition on Dec. 17 at UTEP. The non-conference schedule features games against Texas Tech, Louisiana-Lafayette, ULM, Southern and Wyoming.

The Bulldogs will close the season in Ruston against Florida Atlantic on March 4.
