Lottery player wins $2 million from ticket purchased at Grand Chute Kwik Trip

GRAND CHUTE – A lucky winner claimed a $2 million-winning lottery ticket Tuesday that she purchased at a Kwik Trip in Grand Chute.

The ticket was from scratch-off game Tremendous Two Million, which launched Sept. 9. The game had two tickets with top prizes — and the other one is still somewhere out there, according to Wisconsin Lottery.

The winner was identified only as "Katie C." The Kwik Trip that sold the winning ticket is located at 710 W. Evergreen Drive.

Wisconsin has seen some other big wins recently, according to a news release from Wisconsin Lottery. A $1 million Royal Millions scratch ticket purchased at a Kwik Trip in Waukesha was claimed Sept. 27, and a Powerball ticket purchased at a Kwik Trip in Mauston won $1 million Oct. 1.

Some large lottery jackpots rolled over from last week, Wisconsin Lottery said in the news release. Mega Millions' estimated jackpot for its Friday drawing is $410 million, and estimated jackpots for the Powerball and Megabucks Saturday drawings are $378 million and $10.1 million, respectively.
