Loro Piana RTW Fall 2021
Loro Piana delivered a chic and typically luxurious collection that paid homage to Milan and its entryways with travertine staircases and marble columns. The inspiration was translated into painstaking handicraft put into every item and with a color palette nodding to the city’s architecture and its muted tones, such as ivory white, burgundy and terracotta brown juxtaposed with yellow and forest green.
The look: A luxurious take on everyday attire with a bourgeois flair for quintessentially Milanese ladies wrapped in baby cashmere overcoats and mélange knitwear, the latter rendered in body-hugging separates with pants and skirts that were in tune with the ongoing leisurewear trend.
