Nadia Sawalha shocks as she accidentally calls Coleen Nolan 'fat' during weight debate on 'Loose Women'
Nadia Sawalha shocked Coleen Nolan when she accidentally called her fat during a debate about weight on the latest episode of Loose Women.
Using Love Island star Maura Higgins’ comment about Curtis Pritchard being more of a “cheesecake than beefcake” as the topic, the panel discussed whether or not it was ok to comment on a partner’s weight.
Nolan, who has spoken openly about a number of topics explained to Sawalha, Gloria Hunniford and Brenda Edwards, that her family make comments about her weight.

“They joke about my size all the time, I think it's funny. I mean, they say, ‘You don't just sit around the house, you sit around the house’.”
Sharing her thoughts about Nolan’s comments, Sawalha shared: “But I don't think you can be throwing away funny comments about people's weight unless you really know because it can be so hurtful.”
However, things took an awkward turn, when she added: “But you're very comfortable with your fat.”

As the studio erupted with laughter, Nolan saw the funny side and told Sawalha: “It's OK you meant to say family!”
Trying to make the situation better, Sawalha commented: “We all know we are overweight.”
But it appeared to only make things more awkward as Nolan quipped back: “Well, we do now!”

Whilst Sawalha hasn’t mentioned the awkward incident on Twitter, Nolan shared the clip of the moment on her social media page with a number of laughing crying emojis and shocked face emojis.
Loose Women aside, Nolan recently revealed her disappointment at not being asked to appear on Strictly Come Dancing.
In a recent interview with the Metro, the former Nolan Sisters singer admitted: “They don’t want me for some reason. I’m devastated as it’s the only one I’ve ever wanted to do but the only one I’ve never been asked to do!
“Hopefully one day, while my hips still work.”
