Outside of his red-zone interception off of the hands of Jalen Richard, Derek Henry was nearly perfect in Week 7. He completed an incredible 31 of 34 passes while averaging 9.5 yards per attempt.

As usual, Carr completed a ton of passes at or near the line of scrimmage. But in this game, he completed every single passes beyond 10 yards. That was the difference in the game as Carr continues to be more aggressive throwing the ball down the field.

Here is Carr’s passing chart in Week 7 via the NFL’s Next Gen Stats. As you will see, this was among his most efficient days as a pro.

Through seven games, Carr is easily playing the best football of his career. That is incredibly surprising considering all of the injuries to his offensive line and his head coach/play-caller resigning two weeks ago.

With Carr continuing to be aggressive, there isn’t a quarterback in the AFC playing better.
