Longmont police notes: Structure fire; stolen car recovered
Jun. 28—Longmont firefighters responded to a structure fire in the 2200 block of 17th Avenue on Friday morning.
Longmont officers responded to the 1100 block of East 17th Avenue on Sunday afternoon for a vehicle break-in. A report was taken.
Longmont police located a stolen vehicle in the 1600 block of Main Street on Sunday afternoon. A man was found in possession of the vehicle and arrested.
Longmont police attempted to conduct a traffic stop near 21st Avenue and Main Street on Sunday afternoon. The vehicle fled the area at a high rate of speed.
Longmont police were dispatched to the 700 block of Sage Place on Saturday evening for a report of a fence on fire. A report was generated.
On Saturday evening, officers assisted the Larimer County Sheriff's Office with a high risk vehicle stop by using a Longmont Police Department K9 to take a noncompliant male domestic-violence suspect into custody after he did not exit his vehicle for more than 45 minutes. The case is closed.
