Longmont and Erie police notes: Officers respond to thefts, burglaries, hit-and-run crashes

Dec. 6—LONGMONT

Friday

—8:12 a.m. Longmont police were dispatched to the 1400 block of Elmhurst Drive on a burglary report. Officers contacted a man and took a report.

—1:21 p.m. Police responded to a cold report of burglary in the 1800 block of Industrial Circle. The incident happened within the previous three weeks, but the date and time are unknown.

Saturday

—9:20 a.m. Officers responded to an assault in the 200 block of Kimbark Street. Police contacted two women and took a report.

Sunday

—12:45 p.m. Longmont police contacted a woman regarding ski boots that were stolen from her vehicle while it was parked in the 500 block of Coffman Street. There was no suspect information provided.

—3:49 p.m. Officers responded to a small fire near Empson Drive and Lashley Street.

—7:14 p.m. Police conducted a traffic stop in the 200 block of Main Street, then arrested a woman for DUI and motor vehicle theft.

ERIE

Tuesday

—2 p.m. An Erie officer took a report of a sex offense in the 200 block of Monares Lane.

Wednesday

—5:10 a.m. Erie police attempted to stop a stolen vehicle at Erie Parkway and East County Line Road, but the vehicle eluded officers.

—11:28 a.m. Officers responded to a reported hit-and-run crash near Austin Avenue and East County Line Road. The at-fault driver received a citation.

Thursday

—7:36 a.m. An officer investigated a hit-and-run crash near Erie Parkway and Weld County Road 5. Two cars were involved, and there were no injuries.

—6:55 p.m. Erie police were dispatched to a hit-and0run crash at Mitchell Way and Erie Parkway. A woman later received a citation.

Friday

—3:15 p.m. Erie officers responded to a vehicle theft reported in the 300 block of Maplewood Drive.

Sunday

—12:24 a.m. Police tried to stop a vehicle in the 1800 block of Colo. 7, but the vehicle got away and headed westbound.

—8:57 p.m. An officer responded to a cold burglary in the 700 block of Drake Avenue.

Monday

—5:19 a.m. Erie police responded to a report of a missing person from the 1000 block of Sandstone Circle.

—7:01 a.m. An officer took a report of a vehicle theft in the 1400 block of Blue Sky Circle.
