Thursday's results: OSAA state track and field championships

Thursday is the first day of the OSAA track and field state championships at Hayward Field in Eugene.

Class 3A, 2A and 1A will be competing in a bunch of preliminary races on the track, as well as a handful of final track and field events.

The state championships continue Friday, with all six classifications competing, and will conclude Saturday with Class 6A, 5A and 4A finals.

Below are live updates of Thursday’s finals. They will include the champion and local Mid-Valley participants per event.

The live updates will begin at about noon.
