Lindsay Lohan has debuted her Australian accent as she arrived in the country to take part in a new game show.

The Mean Girls star will join a panel of judges that includes Dannii Minogue on The Masked Singer - which will see them try and guess the identity of singing celebrities disguised in elaborate costumes.

Lohan, 33, posted a video on Instagram telling her 7.8 million followers: “G’Day mates. I’m here in Australia”.

Li-Lo, who co-owns a chain on nightclubs in Greece, gushed she loves the country so much she is thinking of opening a new branch of Lohan Beach House there.

She said: "It really is an incredible country. The beaches are insanely beautiful... who knows I may even look at opening a Beach Club there."

Speaking about the TV show Li-Lo said: "The show has already been a huge success and I can only imagine it will get bigger.

"Each week will be so exciting to watch who performs and try to guess who's behind the masks. I feel honoured to sit on the panel and be part of such an amazing show."

Minogue, 47, tweeted she is looking forward to more “banter” with her fellow judges.

Hughes joked: "Never has the phrase 'thorn between the roses' been more apt. I will attempt to give the common man's view while sitting amongst these goddesses."
