The actress will star in the romantic comedy 'Irish Wish.'

Lindsay Lohan is set to star in a brand new romantic comedy as part of her two-picture deal with Netflix

On Thursday, the streaming giant announced the Mean Girls actress, 36, will star in the upcoming film Irish Wish, where she will play the role of Maddie, a bridesmaid attending a wedding in Ireland to watch her best friend marry the love of her life

After making a wish for true love, Lohan's character suddenly wakes up as the new bride-to-be, only to discover that her dream of true love might not be what it seems and that "her soulmate may well be a different person than she originally expected," according to Netflix's Tudum website.

The film marks her second collaboration with director Janeen Damian, in addition to her role in the rom-com Falling for Christmas, which will debut on the streaming service November 10.

The holiday film—announced back in March—features Lohan as a newly engaged heiress who ends up with a case of amnesia after a skiing accident, and later finds herself in the care of a lodge owner and his daughter right before Christmas.

"We're so happy with our collaboration with Lindsay to date, and we're thrilled to continue our partnership with her," Christina Rogers, Netflix's director of independent film previously said in a statement to People. "We look forward to bringing more of her films to our members around the world."

Netflix also announced the news while referencing her role in the iconic 1998 film The Parent Trap, writing on Twitter, "The world first fell in love with Lindsay Lohan when she played a set of twins — and Netflix is once again giving the world twice the Lindsay to love through a creative partnership that will see her star in two new films!"

Lohan also shared the news on her Instagram page at the time, writing "Exciting things to come 🤗🎥🍿 @netflixfilm."

Prior to the roles in her upcoming new movies, Lohan was also the narrator on the Prime Video series, Lovestruck High, and starred on the Netflix series Sick Note.

She also starred and executive produced the MTV series Lindsay Lohan's Beach Club, while her other popular projects include Freaky Friday, Just My Luck, Bobby and more.
