Letter: Gas prices no surprise

American gas prices are more than 100% higher than they were the day President Trump left office. We are all stunned, but then these high prices should have been expected with what Joe Biden did in his very first week as leader of the free world: 1. He canceled the Keystone pipeline; 2. He halted oil leasing programs in ANWAR; 3. He put a halt on all new drilling permits on federal lands; 4. He directed federal agencies to eliminate all supports for fossil fuels; and 5. He imposed new regulations on all oil and gas emissions.

Then, after declaring war on the American oil industry, he has the gall to blame these high gas prices on Russia instead of his very own policies. Nice try.
