Leslie Ash: 'It would be nice to grow old naturally'
Leslie Ash has said it would be nice to grow old naturally, after botched cosmetic surgery left her with a “trout pout”.
The Men Behaving Badly actress, 59, ended up with massively swollen lips after suffering a reaction when she had fillers 17 years ago.
She has previously admitted to feeling a sense of “shame” about what happened, and said she felt like hiding away “and never coming out”.

Speaking on ITV’s Lorraine, Ash said it was sad that so many young people are resorting to fillers nowadays.
“To be honest, it would be lovely to just grow old naturally,” she said, noting that “we live in the era of selfies and having to look perfect”.
“The sad thing is that there are a lot of young girls that are 18 and 19 having these fillers now, that really don’t need to have them,” she said.
Host Lorraine Kelly pointed out that anyone could suffer a reaction like Ash did.
“A lot of people have seen what happened to me and probably are quite careful, which is good,” said the actress.
Ash is set to turn 60 next year but said she is embracing it.
She said: “When I hit 50 I thought, ‘Oh my God, 60, it’s going to be all over.’
“But now I don’t feel any different to when I was 40. If anything I’ve got more drive.
“There are a lot of women now who have worked so hard within different industries that are still going and still working. I think it’s a great time for women!"

Ash had her lips done in 2002, and the resulting swelling led people to label her mouth a “trout pout”.
She later spoke out about the teasing, saying: "I had an accident.
"People don't laugh at Heather Mills because she lost a leg.
"If I'd lost a leg in a car crash, people wouldn't have felt able to take the mickey out of me so mercilessly."
