Law firm makes donation to Bobcat Store

Kara Dolan-West and Donna Dolan from the Bainbridge Law firm recently delivered food and clothing items donated to the Bobcat Store at Cambridge High School. Student Kat Henthorne, Student Support Liaison Casey McVicker, student Luke Dingus, Principal Jason Bunting, Dolan-West, Dolan, aide Becky Smalley and student Abagail Enochs are shown with a sampling of the supplies donated by the Bainbridge Firm.

The Bobcat Store at Cambridge High School continues to provide food, clothing and other items to students in need and, thanks to the support of the community, the shelves are fully stocked.

Most recently, the Bainbridge Law Firm donated a significant amount of those items to the store. Items were collected from employees in seven Brainbridge branches and the Columbus headquarters.

“We told everyone in the firm what we were planning to do, and they all supported the idea,” said associate Kara Dolan-West said. “We want to be a part of our community and help community members who are in need.”

The Bobcat Store does not charge for the items it provides and students can pick out what they need.

It is a collaborative effort and supported by teacher Maria Armes, students in the cross categorical classroom, Student Support Liaison Casey McVicker and aide Katherine Henthorne this school year.

In recent weeks, the store has also received donations from the Harvest House, a Christian ministry of the Harvest Christian Fellowship, and Cambridge High School alumnus Dave Abood, who now resides in the Columbus area.

“Every donation is appreciated, and we are so grateful for the support we receive from the community,” McVicker said. “There is a need for food, clothing and personal items for our students."
