"Latvia obtained significant experience and 'training' organized by Belarusians, and was in favor of Latvian services' professionalism," he stated.
Currently, there are few incidents reported on the Latvian border with Russia, so the situation is currently normal.
"I cannot say the same about the Belarusian border,” he noted.

“Very rarely do we see mornings in which the border guards report zero illegal border-crossing attempts. This will likely remain while (Alexander) Lukashenko’s regime is still active. We cannot say for certain that Russia is not involved either, because we can see that people who try to cross the border arrive in Minsk from Moscow.”
Latvian law enforcers have also had to deal with growing Belarusian disinformation on Telegram, the minister said.

Earlier, Ukrainian military intelligence chief Kyrylo Budanov said that Russia was going to announce a new wave of mobilization. Reportedly, the Kremlin is looking to expand their Armed Forces to approximately 2 million personnel.
