Landspout Sweeps Across Field in Northern Texas

Multiple landspouts were reported in and around Dumas, Texas, as powerful winds swept the Lone Star State’s panhandle on Monday, August 8.

The National Weather Service (NWS) issued multiple special weather statements for the area, warning of gusts of up to 55 mph and half-inch hail.
