It appears not every member of the Fickell family is leaving the Queen City.

Former Cincinnati coach Luke Fickell is officially the new head coach at Wisconsin , but it looks like his son, Bearcats offensive lineman Landon Fickell, is staying put.

A Twitter user posted a theory about Landon and Luke on Tuesday afternoon, saying, "Landon Fickell’s Twitter likes. Clear disdain with his father’s decision."

Landon, however, denied any drama and revealed his current status.

"There is no drama. I am not in the (transfer) portal," Landon tweeted.

Although this is not an official confirmation, the fact Landon has not yet entered the transfer portal could mean he plans to remain at Cincinnati.

Luke was introduced as Wisconsin's new head coach on Monday, agreeing to a seven-year deal with the program that starts at $7.5 million per year.

Cornerbacks coach/special teams coordinator Kerry Coombs will serve as the Bearcats' interim head coach. Cincinnati athletic director John Cunningham said there will still be a national search to find Fickell's replacement in which both internal and external candidates will be considered.
