Landline will double the number of daily trips it makes from Northern Colorado Regional Airport in Loveland to Denver International Airport beginning Dec. 15.

Landline, which provides "wingless flights" from Loveland to DIA for United Airlines, opened the shuttle service to all airline passengers in September but only had four daily trips at that time. It announced it would add four more trips on Dec. 15 and bump the number to nine round trips on Dec. 22.

That means beginning Dec. 15, more travelers flying out of DIA can park for free at the Loveland airport and hop on Landline's bus for the trip to DIA. Cost is $29 for adults and $10 for children younger than 13 each way. A round trip would cost two adults $116 total. But, you won't have to worry about fighting traffic on I-25, paying for gas or paying to park at or near the airport, which can cost at least $8 per day.

The first trip from Loveland is at 5:45 a.m. The last will be at 7:35 p.m. The first trip back to Loveland from DIA will be at 7:20 a.m.

"We've been overwhelmed by the level of excitement in Fort Collins/Loveland for our recently launched 'Landline to any airline' service as well as our wingless flight service on behalf of United Airlines," said Nick Johnson, Landline's vice president of commercial, in a statement. "We're thrilled to expand our schedule up to nine roundtrips per day to reach more customers, making travel to the airport hassle-free, no matter the time of day."

Once at DIA, passengers flying airlines other than United will still have to get their bags and check in at their airline. United passengers can check their bags at the Loveland airport through to their final destination.

Fares can be booked at www.landline.com.
