Lakers' Anthony Davis available for Monday's game vs. Celtics
Anthony Davis could be back in action Monday after a five-game absence, the Los Angeles Lakers announced per Dave McMenamin of ESPN.

Davis was listed as questionable for the game as of Sunday night, though reports targeted his return as Saturday. He’s missed time after taking a scary fall in Los Angeles against the New York Knicks on Jan. 7. He underwent an MRI on his lower back that showed it was a bruise, but nothing serious.
He traveled with the team on a road trip and went through individual work on the court over the weekend. Davis, 26, is averaging 27.1 points and 9.4 rebounds per game, both team highs.
Head coach Frank Vogel told McMenamin he’s “very anxious” without Davis on the court, but has the mindset of patience. Via ESPN:
"We're going to be conservative and make sure he's right before we return him to play, have a marathon mindset to the season, as we would with all of our players, but in particular someone of his caliber."
The Celtics (27-14) host the Western Conference-leading Lakers (34-8) at 7:30 p.m. on TNT. Boston has two key players listed as questionable in Jaylen Brown and Kemba Walker.
Brown has a right thumb sprain and Walker is dealing with left knee soreness. Robert Williams is out with a left hip bone edema.
