Kyler Murray gets work in with WRs before OTAs

Because of the COVID-19 pandemic, last year’s offseason was limited for NFL players. Quarterback Kyler Murray didn’t get together with recently acquired receiver DeAndre Hopkins and other teammates until the middle of June, when the offseason program is typically over.

OTAs are scheduled to begin next week for the Arizona Cardinals, but it is voluntary and there has been a push by the players association to have veterans stay away from voluntary activities.

However, Murray is getting some work in. He posted on his Instagram story some on-field work on a field with newly acquired receiver A.J. Green and third-year receiver KeeSean Johnson.

If Murray is going to take another step forward in his development, he will need at the reps he can get.
