KSU's Gore named to ASUN Winners for Life

Jul. 1—Kennesaw State lacrosse standout Siena Gore was named to the ASUN Conference's spring Winners for Life Team this week.

The team is composed of one student-athlete from each of the 12 ASUN institutions and honors those who display excellence on the field, in the classroom and in the community.

Gore, a midfielder from Alpharetta, wrapped up her five-year career at Kennesaw State by becoming the first player in ASUN history to reach 100 points in a season, totaling 80 goals and 20 assists. She also became the first two-time ASUN Player of the Year and was also named ASUN Scholar-Athlete of the Year.

Gore was selected to the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association's all-region second team, and she was named an Inside Lacrosse honorable mention All-American, becoming the first Owl to earn All-American status.

Gore graduated in May with her master's degree in systems engineering, after receiving her bachelor's degree in industrial engineering technology in just three years. Gore held a perfect 4.0 grade-point average through all of her undergraduate and graduate studies.
