KSU ranked No. 6 by AFCA

Aug. 16—Kennesaw State's football team was ranked sixth by the American Football Coaches Association in its preseason rankings.

It followed an 11-2 season in which the Owls won the Big South Conference championship and reached the second round of the Football Championship Subdivision playoffs. The Owls will look to continue their success into the ASUN Conference's first year of sponsoring football.

Kennesaw State was ranked eighth in last week's STATS Perform preseason poll. The Owls hold the fourth-longest active streak with 55 consecutive weeks ranked in the top 25 by STATS.
