The New York Knicks caught fire in the 4th quarter of their final 2021 preseason tune up to beat the Washington Wizards, 115-113, on a jumper by Julius Randle at the buzzer. The big storyline in the exhibition finale was the return of young center Mitchell Robinson. Robinson, who had been sidelined by a fractured foot since last season, played 27 minutes, scoring 6 points and pulling down 9 rebounds. He says he felt great and wasn't worried about his foot at all. Robinson did admit to getting tired and that conditioning is where he needs the most work. The crowd at MSG welcomed him back and Robinson was most appreciative. 'What is it, seven months without playing basketball? That's a long time, so for them to do that for me, helped me out a lot'.
