Knicks appeared to be in command with an eleven point lead late in the 4th quarter but Marcus Smart's three-pointer at the end of regulation capped off a Celtics comeback and sent the game to overtime. It took double overtime but Julius Randle and former Celtic, Evan Fournier, led the way, combining for 67 points overall as the Knicks outlasted Boston, 138-134. Knicks Head Coach Tom Thibodeau: 'The good thing at the end of the day is, we got the win'. Thibodeau credited Randle for his all-around play, Fournier on hitting some big shots and RJ Barrett's big 2nd half for the hard-fought win.
