All of the New York players in this weekend’s NBA All-Star Game in Atlanta will be suiting up for the same team.

On Thursday night, All-Star captains Kevin Durant and LeBron James drafted their teams from the pool of available players, with Durant selecting Knicks forward Julius Randle as well as his own Nets teammates James Harden and Kyrie Irving.

Durant, of course, won’t be able to play as he continues to recover from a hamstring injury. But Irving, selected with Durant’s first choice after James selected Giannis Antetokounmpo, will start for Team Durant alongside Bradley Beal, Jayson Tatum, Kawhi Leonard, and Joel Embiid.

Randle, meanwhile, was Durant’s 10th overall selection as he makes his first career All-Star appearance.

And to give Team Durant one more New York connection, Utah’s Donovan Mitchell, a native of the Empire State, was Durant’s final selection.
