Kid Rock blasts COVID restrictions, says he won’t perform at venues with precautions

Singer Kid Rock says he won’t perform at any venues with COVID-19 restrictions ahead of his upcoming Bad Reputation tour.
Ahead of concert sales on Jan. 28, Kid Rock took to Facebook Live to assure his fans that they don’t have to worry about coronavirus restrictions. According to him, venues along the 26-show tour will no longer have restrictions by the time he gets there.
“There’s been a lot of talk about vaccine mandates,” he said during the live broadcast. “We’ve done all our research on this, and the consensus says that all this is going to be done … they’re going to be gone by the time we get to your city.”
Potential ticket buyers concerned about mandates shouldn’t be, the Michigan-born singer says. If there are vaccine or mask mandates, then he won’t be performing anyway.
“Trust me, you don’t have to worry. You’ll be getting your money back because I won’t be showing up either,” the 51-year-old singer said with a laugh. “If you think I’m going to sit out there and say don’t tell me how to live, ‘We The People,’ while people are holding up their f---ing vaccine cards and wearing masks, that s--- ain’t happening.”
In fact, the “All Summer Long” singer says his team scratched multiple cities — Buffalo, New York, and Toronto — due to COVID-19 restrictions.
“I don’t want to deal with that s--- either, and I know that you don’t,” he said during the broadcast.
The Bad Reputation tour is slated to begin April 6 in Evansville, Indiana.
According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, as of Jan. 26, an average of 2,288 people are dying from coronavirus each day, and the U.S. is averaging more than 500,000 cases a day.
The singer-songwriter previously violated coronavirus orders during a June 2020 concert and has recently released a song slamming President Joe Biden and White House chief medical adviser Dr. Anthony Fauci.
