Kent State University is closing its campuses on Tuesday to allow for the removal of heavy snow.

Tuesday is the beginning of the spring semester. All classes offered online will continue as usual. In-person classes will not meet, but instructors have the option to conduct an online session.

Residential dining areas at the Kent campus will remain open and the Kent Student Center will have adjusted hours of 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.

PARTA will operate a reduced bus schedule on campus, with only one bus per route.
