For the record: Riverside is in the driver's seat in the WRC, and two-time defending state champ Chardon is right there, too — but don't forget about these two league foes. Both are well alive in the playoff picture, with Kenston 14th in Division III, Region 9 and South 15th in Division II, Region 5. Needless to say, both need the playoff points this game provides. ... South piled up 34 points and 406 yards last week, but lost to Mayfield and its 41 points and 499 yards. QB Colin Quinlan threw for 166 yards and ran for 71. Tyrone Singleton has run for more than 300 yards in the past two games combined. He's a big-time home run hitter offensively, but don't forget about Delond Moss or Bryce Figler. ... Kenston is led by QB Nikko Georgiou and RB Sean Patrick. Georgiou threw for 180 yards and two scores last week, while Patrick ran for 116 and four touchdowns. Tymir Cardona is one of the best receivers in the News-Herald area, as well. ... The way these two offenses get up and down the field, an offensive shootout might be a good bet.
