I'm Cringing At Kendall Jenner's Reaction To Kim Kardashian Getting The Vogue Cover That Originally Was Supposed To Be Hers

So, if you're not watching The Kardashians on Hulu, lemme get you up to speed. Kim's big storyline — so far — is really about her creating her identity post–Kanye divorce. She's establishing herself as her own person with her own fashion sense.

In this week's episode, we saw Kim and Kris Jenner discussing this new focus on rebranding and fashion. Kris then told Kim about the (dun, dun, dun) Vogue situation.

"So, last week, American Vogue did a fantastic, amazing cover trial with Kendall," she said. "And as they were shooting, they said, 'Oh, by the way, we want to offer Kendall the cover of the March issue.' I was so excited."

“So I just got a call this morning from Kendall’s agent, and he says, ‘Good news, bad news,'" Kris explained. "He said, 'I am not sure that Kendall is going to be right for this cover.' So I said, 'What's the good news?' He said, 'They asked Kim to do the cover.'”

Kris continued, "This is where you can't be a manager, you have to be a mom. Two of my daughters are being considered for the cover of American Vogue. What's really tough is, her agent said to me, 'Who wants to be the one to tell her that Kim's getting the cover and not her?'"

"I feel so bad," Kim said. She then told Kris she definitely wasn't gonna be the one to tell her.

Then, in her confessional, Kim said the "old Kim" would've "buried" Kendall before she got the Vogue cover over her.

In the next scene, we saw Kris sit down with Kendall to tell her. BUT...she already knew from her agent.

"Chris, my agent, called me and told me. I am happy for my sister, and she should be really happy. There is not an upset bone in my body, because I think it went to the right person," Kendall said.

"It's all good," she continued. "Don’t get me wrong, I would have been extremely honored and beyond excited to get this Vogue cover."

Kendall added, "It would've been great. I'm not tripping. I'm happy to give it up to my sister."

AWKWARD. I feel Kendall trying to come off as unbothered. But we've all been there. It's hard, y'all.

Let's be honest. If you did a whole-ass test run with Vogue and then they said "Never mind" and gave it to your sister, you'd be a lil' annoyed.
