Keep focus on sustaining clean water

In the governance of the United States of America, elected leaders have many areas to spend tax dollars, especially when there is a surplus of funds.

Many dollar-consuming projects go to satisfying political debts and do not necessarily benefit all citizens. Fortunately, many dollars are spent for the necessary proper functioning of the country, states and local municipalities.

In my mind tax dollars spent to address the nation's clean potable water supply should be stressed because the population of the United States and its needs for water is increasing faster than potable water replacement. Clean water at the kitchen faucet is a step ahead of energy at the wall light switch.
