Kate Middleton is chic in leopard during 24-hour tour of the UK

The Duchess of Cambridge kicked off her 24-hour tour of the United Kingdom on Tuesday to promote her latest initiative in support of early childhood development, 5 Big Questions.

Following a visit to MiniBrum at the Birmingham Science Museum, the duchess then traveled to Cardiff, Wales, on Wednesday to take part in a baby sensory class at the city's Ely and Careau Children’s Centre. Although it was a departure from her usual style, Kate looked chic as ever for the engagement, rocking a camel coat by Massimo Dutti and a leopard midi print skirt from Zara.

"I want to hear the key issues affecting our families and communities so I can focus my work on where it is needed most," the mom-of-three said.

The initiative aims to generate conversation on early childhood nationwide to bring about "positive, lasting change for generations to come."

"I’m here today to help launch a survey to hear society’s views about raising the next generation. Parents, carers and families are at the heart of caring for children in the formative years so that is why I want to listen to them," Kate said at the launch of the initiative on Tuesday.

The royal continued:

“As a parent, I know how much we cherish the future health and happiness of our children. I want to hear the key issues affecting our families and communities so I can focus my work on where it is needed most. My ambition is to provide lasting change for generations to come.”
