Kate Beckinsale claps back at trolls as she shuts down Machine Gun Kelly dating rumours

Kate Beckinsale had the perfect response to an online troll this week, when they slammed her for spending time with Machine Gun Kelly.

The Underworld actor found herself on the receiving end of a number of mean-spirited comments after she was spotted sharing a car with the 29-year-old US rapper on the way to a Golden Globes’ after party on Sunday 5 January.

“Machine gun Kelly Really? I’m out!! You are now infected,” they wrote underneath a funny Instagram video of Beckinsale’s cat Willow knocking over a glass of cat-friendly Prosecco. Presumably, they’d taken the rumours that she and the Alpha Omega hitmaker are dating as gospel.

But the 46-year-old appeared to shut down the theory, as she replied: “Why don’t you worry about things that are actually happening and donate to the Australian wildfires rather than waste your time on things that are not happening and never were and also please get a f**king life.”

“U need a man,” another chimed in, before she clapped back: “Maybe you do since it’s so much on your mind xx”

Beckinsale is no stranger to taking to social media in order to stamp out suspicion.

Back in November, she posted a photograph of herself and Hollywood star Jamie Foxx, who she was thought to be romantically involved with at the time, alongside the caption: “Lads night at #hfpa party with @therealadewale @iamjamiefoxx and @jsauluck.

“I would like to point out that standing next to someone does not mean I am dating them. Currently in line at the dry cleaners and if that’s true I’ve got a hell of a problem.”
