From showing off her braces to giving us all a behind-the-scenes tour of her mum's house (which, by the way, practically broke the internet but got her in a lot of trouble), it's safe to say that North West has made quite the impact during her short time on TikTok. But, despite amassing over five million followers, one person who isn't such a fan of the eight-year-old's account on the app is her dad, Kanye West, who yesterday called out estranged wife Kim Kardashian for letting their daughter online.

Speaking to Hollywood Unlocked's Jason Lee, Kanye (who recently changed his name to Ye) said: "Don't have my daughter wearing lipstick on TikTok — or don't have her on TikTok at all — if I'm not there to approve that."

Per TikTok's safety guide, children under 13-years-old have their accounts put onto the app's 'Younger Users experience', which has additional privacy and safety protections designed specifically for this audience. It's unclear whether North's account has been placed under TikTok's Younger User experience, given that the account is specified as being "managed by an adult".

As well has having plenty to say about Kim letting North on TikTok, the Donda rapper went on to add that he thinks their daughter's online presence "was done without me knowing", which he claims is "poking the bear, trying to antagonise me and create this 'crazy' narrative."

On the topic of the four children he and Kim share, North (8), Saint (6), Chicago (4) and Psalm (2), the 44-year-old also said, "Tell her security are not finna [going to] come between me and my kids" – referencing recent claims that he was not allowed to enter Kim's house where Chicago was celebrating her birthday.
